Scientific Method

How to use the Scientific Method template

 

1. Enter the problem you are investigating into the symbol associated with "State the Problem."

2. Form a hypothesis based on the information you gather and enter it into the appropriate symbol.

3. Make predictions based on your hypothesis and enter them into the symbols associated with "Make Predictions."

4. Test your hypothesis and enter the results into the symbols associated with "Test the Hypothesis."

5. After testing your hypothesis, draw conclusions, and record them in the symbols associated with "Draw Conclusions."

6. Add additional subtopics as necessary using the Create tool.

7. For additional help, read the text in the note associated with each step.

The scientific method is a widely accepted process for conducting an accurate, unbiased, scientific investigation. This template helps encourage the use of this standard procedure when developing a theory.
